This course is designed to help facilitators of Anti-Racism/Anti-Oppression/Multicultural curricula and groups develop skills to facilitate in a way that decreases harm and promotes transformation. This course is required for all Mosaic Skill Up group facilitators (Modules 1-5) and anyone planning on using the Mosaic Lifespan Anti-Racism Curriculum (all modules). However, any facilitator interested in using an AR/AO/MC lens in their facilitation is encouraged to take this course.

Modules 1-4 are foundational modules that are applicable to facilitating in person, mulit-platform, or online groups including:
- Doing our own AR/AO/MC transformation work
- Grounding in theology, spirituality, and embodied practice
- How learning and change happens
- Facilitation for transformation
Module 5 focuses on developing skills for facilitating on Zoom.
Module 6: introduces and prepares facilitators to use the Mosaic Lifespan Anti-racism Curriculum. (Required for all using the curriculum)
By completing this training facilitators will:
- Demonstrate familiarity with the work of Widening the Circle of Concern and other key AR/AO/MC resources.
- Identify key areas of personal growth in their own journey with AR/AO/MC ministry.
- Explain the connection between theological/philosophical grounding (their own and other’s) and AR/AO/MC transformation
- Identify and apply core concepts of education and change theories to work with groups and congregations
- Design and lead grounding exercises in online groups
- Describe and apply effective group facilitation practices.
